The independent short film, "How To Sleep In The Cold" tells the story of one homeless woman.  According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, there were 771,480 homeless people in the US on January, 2024.  That figure increased 18% from the previous year.

Tracking the growth of homelessness in the Florida has proved difficult.  It's hard to track down as compared to other areas.  And the effects of the new FL law banning public sleeping and camping are yet to be fully understood.  But practically no area escapes the issue of homelessness.  This page lists various resources for homeless people and homeless prevention through your donation or volunteering.
